Ask your salon whether they comply to authorities, rules and regulations?
Do they have a health certificate to operate? Do they pay minimum wage or more and do they treat their staff well? Are they WCA registered?
Sometimes your "bargain" comes at the price of quality, cleanliness, inhumane low minimum wages or non compliance. There is a lot of sub standard salons... giving our industry a bad name. Some of our clients fall victim of attractive, elaborate social media advertising and very low prices... they come back tail between the legs... feeling embarrassed for going "there"... not all bargains are a good idea.
Standards do come at a price.
