October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, which is an annual campaign to increase awareness of the disease.

The pink ribbon is an international symbol of breast cancer awareness. Pink ribbons, and the color pink in general, identify the wearer or promoter with the breast cancer brand and express moral support for women with breast cancer.Pink ribbons are most commonly seen during National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Breast cancer is the second most common kind of cancer in women.

A mammogram or Ultrasound – the screening test for breast cancer – can help find breast cancer early when it's easier to treat. National Breast Cancer Awareness Month is a chance to raise awareness about the importance of early detection of breast cancer.

Our contribution is to offer a ultrasound scan of the breasts at 50% less on the normal price and also to screen the liver for metastatic lesions, if you were previously diagnosed with breast cancer. Liver scans also less 50%.

Sonar/ Ultrasound is being used to locate and messures uterine fibroids. According to literature, 20% of women over the age of 35 develop uterine fibroids. Most women with fibroids do not develop problems and this abnormal uterine growth goes know they have fibroids. However, there is a percentage of women with fibroids that experience excessive vaginal bleeding, pelvic pain, and cramping, repeated miscarriages, pelvic fullness, and frequency in urination.

For whole month of August (because of women's month) we at Hendors Diagnostics will offer Gynae ultrasound screening for almost next to nothing (our contribution to womens health).

We will also commit to screen breast masses between the ages of 16 and up→ especially where there is a strong family history of breast cancer. Men and women are welcome to contact us.
