Body Stress Release George - Healthy Living at Symonds

Body Stress Release George - Healthy Living at Symonds When the stresses of life - whether mechanical, chemical or mental/emotional - reach the level of overload, the body is no longer able to adapt constructively.

Body Stress Release is a natural, non invasive technique that focuses on releasing stored muscle tension to stimulate the nervous system and prompt the body's natural healing response. Body Stress Release is a health profession concerned with unlocking the tension stored in physical structures, thereby assisting the body in restoring its maximum efficiency. This gentle technique assists the body in its own healing process and brings effective relief from many forms of tension, pain and discomfort caused by the build-up of stress in the body. The stress becomes locked into the physical structures, causing pain, stiffness, numbness, headaches or postural distortions. This stored tension has an impact on the nervous system and undermines the body's natural ability to co-ordinate its functions and heal and maintain itself. Body Stress Release brings effective relief from pain and discomfort from many different causes, including back pain, neck pain, headaches and various types of stress and even sporting injuries. Body Stress Release does not use medication or machines, nor does it involve massage, manipulation, pressure points or energy meridians. It is practical and logical. Body Stress Release uses information provided by the body to determine where stored tension may be undermining the efficiency of the nervous system, disturbing the body’s ability to co-ordinate its functions and perform at its full potential.

“To benefit fully from the body’s capabilities we need to accept responsibility for our lifestyle choices and realise that we do influence our state of health. To deny this responsibility would be to see yourself as a victim of your circumstances. This would lead you to seek an external solution and to believe that someone else will heal you. Of course, outside assistance may help, but it is your own body that does the healing. When we accept responsibility we access the power that lies within us.” Gail Meggersee -Self-Healing with Body Stress Release.

All of our practitioners are passionate about our amazing technique, but each has their favourite thing about it.
Here is practitioner Evander Coetzee from the Polokwane, Limpopo Body Stress Release Practice, sharing his favourite thing about being a BSR practitioner.

We have found that BSR can be very helpful in assisting people who have cancer to manage the stress build up in their bodies caused by the trauma, treatments and symptoms they are subjected to whilst fighting this disease. This in turn leaves most patients feeling, at the least, just a little better.

When last did you wake up with no aches or pains in your neck, shoulders, hips, back or legs?
It's hard to explain that first morning you wake up after a Body Stress Release session.
Your body just feels like it has always been meant to feel!
Make sure to find a practitioner near you today: https://bodystressrelease.com/.../find-a-body-stress.../…

What to expect in a BSR consultation:
BSR sessions are carried out in the professional setting of private consulting rooms within a practice. A case history is taken recording past accidents, fractures and operations as well as notes on what you are currently experiencing.
The practitioner then explains the technique and how it works.
Sessions vary in length depending on what shows up in the assessment.
It is important to note that BSR is a process and not a quick fix. 3 Initial appointment for new clients and then depending on each individual body, maintenance sessions are recommended.

To achieve optimal health, we should regard our body as our most valuable possession, and realise that health is everything and without health, everything is nothing. Most of the time we only start paying attention to our bodies when something goes wrong. We need to consider what we can do to cooperate with the body in its constant striving for health, and develop an awareness of how we habitually use it. Do you bend, sit, lift and exercise in ways that respect the natural structural design of your body? What kind of food do you give your body? Do your thoughts focus on positives or negatives? Is your environment conducive to health?

Aches and pains aren’t just “a part of life.”
They’re your body's way of asking for help.
Body Stress Release (BSR) gently locates and releases areas of stored muscle tension and stress that can often lead to back pain, headaches, stiff necks and sore joints.
Whether you’ve been struggling for weeks—or years—BSR can help you move with ease, sleep better and enjoy life without nagging discomfort.
Your body knows how to heal. BSR just helps it get there.

These are the areas that we as practitioners find are the main sites of Body Stress in most clients. The spine is most prominent, with the neck and lower back being the cause of most issues experienced.
