Our this Friday is about *Jonothan who described his many years of back pain as excruciating. A 49 year old builder, he had sustained several spinal fractures in the neck, mid back & lower back in landmine traumas. His left knee locked up in a bent position when he walked and his right leg alternated between numbness and burning. He also had severe shoulder-joint pain. Over many BSR sessions during the next 7 months, the sensations in the different areas varied; just as certain ones improved, others became worse. Just when the pain was finally receding though, he made the mistake of lifting a large pot with his back twisted. For a while he was in agony, but several sessions later he turned the corner. Two years after he began, he finally reached the point of only a little back pain and more flexibility and mobility. He joked with his practitioner that no matter what he was feeling, she told him that it was ‘wonderful’. If there was pain she reassured him that communication was being restored when there was no pain she told him healing was taking place. He reached the point where he could laugh at whatever he was experiencing and see how it was just another step in his healing journey.
