Dr Pieter du Toit moved to George in 2016 from Welkom where he operated his own practice for the last 29 years after obtaining his medical degree at the Free State University in 1981. Dr Du Toit established his Sonar Clinic and Baby Image Studio at the practice where he offers high quality sonar technology for 2D, 3D and 4D images. "Sonar images are a wonderful opportunity for parents to become acquainted and bond with their new. Sonar scans are done from 10 weeks on and while a good 2D scan is always important diagnostically, 3D and 4D scans ('live 3D') are excellent ways to observe the physical appearance as well as facial expressions of the baby. "I view every birth as a miracle and strive to render a sonar service like no other," says Dr Du Toit. His motto is, 'Safe mother, safe baby. Happy family, happy doctor'.
