Decrease your rest time. If you want to save on time and up the intensity of your workout, this is a great tip. Typical rest time is 1 to 2 minutes and if you allow longer times, you risk muscle damage.

Limit how many exercises you do to strengthen a muscle group. Consider doing two key exercises and do your reps with a heavier weight. Then next time use an even heavier weight.
