Today marks International Physical/Physiotherapy Day and the start of National Physiotherapy Week which provides an opportunity for physiotherapists world-wide to raise awareness about the crucial contribution we make in keeping people well, mobile and independent.

Debbie Cameron Physiotherapy is using this day to reflect on the growth of our practice which brings the privilege to treat more patients allowing us to reduce pain, improve mobility and heal the body.

The recent internal launch of our Meyrickton Park Medical Centre practice was celebrated with fellow medical experts in the Centre at which Megan Fryer presented on the latest in the management of concussion. Happy World PT Day!

Debbie Cameron Physiotherapy was honoured to present at the 20th Annual School Nurses Conference held at St Mary’s on Saturday, 23 August. Physiotherapist Megan Fryer presented on concussion and then Debbie Cameron and Megan had an interactive session with the nurses on VOMs as well as answering questions and discussing the management of concussion in school children. Thank you Sister Rudd for the invitation. It was a well run and informative event which we were proud to be part of.
