Mary Cares is a home based care services initiative that is personally owned and managed. I personally worked at a Hospice for 10 years so have many years of PALLIATIVE CARE KNOWLEDGE. We specialize in home health care that is skilled, and we have a 12 hour answering service by a live informed employee. You can hire our caregivers to provide as much, or as little care you need, from 9 hours a day on a live-out basis, or as long as 24 hours a day, and seven days a week on a rotational basis. (and are contracted in with some medical aids - but this will be discussed on a one on one basis) and in cohesion with Creative Wellness services. These services are provided by certified home based carers under the supervision of a registered nurse (myself). While this is not an exhaustive list, it does include the following, (but it is not exclusive to our caregivers only performing the following tasks):

bathing
ambulating
feeding
grooming
companionship while doing the necessary care

The following can be done by the Registered Nurse:
Wound care dressing
Blood draw
Patient teaching
Diabetic care
At Mary Cares, "your comfort is our responsibility."

I am also a Registered Nurse with a PASSION FOR PEOPLE and make it my responsibility to ensure that any patient gets the care that they may need for the hours that are requested - I personally will also do assessments and procedures which most medical aids will pay for and then submit to the medical aid for payment
