A little throwback to a special moment this year — welcoming Dorpie-Doenlys and being recognised as a go-to stop in Makhanda. Seeing our town celebrated as a must-visit destination makes us incredibly proud, and we’re grateful to be part of that story.

Featuring our award-winning SA Top 100 Major Fraser’s Craft Bar & Eatery, Love Happiness Coffee at The Barista, and the feel-good charm of Lola’s Dessert Bar and Hello Gorgeous Gifts — each space reflects the people, creativity and community that make Makhanda what it is, alongside the many other tenants who help bring Opposite the Arch to life every day.

To our locals — thanks for popping in “just for one”, bringing friends, and the kind of visits that turn into a long one… and then a just one more 😉
