✅ 5 Tips to Keep Your Hearing Aids Clean 👂🧼
Wipe Them Daily 🧽
Use a soft, dry cloth or special hearing aid wipes to remove earwax, oils, and debris every night before bed.
Use a Cleaning Brush or Tool 🪥
Gently brush around the microphone and receiver openings with a small tool (often included with your hearing aid) to keep them clear of wax.
Avoid Water and Cleaning Chemicals 💧🚫
Never use water, alcohol, or household cleaners — they can damage the internal components. Hearing aids are not waterproof unless specifically labeled.
Store Them in a Dry Place 📦
Moisture is a hearing aid’s enemy. Keep them in a dry container or a hearing aid dehumidifier overnight to remove any trapped moisture.
Clean Your Ears, Too 👂✨
Excess earwax can clog your hearing aid. Keeping your ears clean (but not over-cleaned) helps prevent wax buildup on the device.
