Happy (very quiet) belated birthday to our Elize, who was absolutely hoping this would go unnoticed.

True to form, she stayed in her corner, kept her head down, and carried on doing what she does best. Caring deeply, working beautifully, offering wisdom when it matters, and slipping in the occasional perfectly timed bit of wit.

Elize does not seek the spotlight, but her presence is felt every single day. She brings calm, thoughtfulness, and a steady kindness that anchors the space around her.

So, even if it’s a little late, and even if she would rather we didn’t make a fuss, we could not let the 3rd of January pass without saying thank you and happy birthday.
