Spelling to Communicate (S2C) is personal. Every journey is unique. When a nonspeakingperson learns to spell —they’re unlocking access to share their voice.

S2C is a lifelong journey. Wins can look like spelling while staying regulated, forming a thought to spell later, or quietly building courage and trust. These
invisible milestones are just as meaningful as words on the board.

How was your day?? It’s the question we all ask our little ones… and usually get the classic “fine” or “good.” 😅
But don’t worry—your little one does have things to share! Their brains are still developing, so it’s tough to recall and explain everything. Sometimes they need a little help (and a little time to decompress) before opening up.
✨ Try changing the question and your timing, and you might be surprised what spills out! ❤️
