What a lovely start to the year. 😃

I met Dr Thandeka Sibiya yesterday. She is the founder of, " Walking for our bodies", and is finishing her solo walk campaign,from Pietmaritzburg to Joburg on foot.

She has dedicated her entire festive season to South African women and children to advocate for an end to gender based violence and femicide by walking alone from KZN to Gauteng.

She left Pietermaritzburg on the 10th of December and spend the day here yesterday in Heidelberg recuperating here at Oak View Manor.

We spent 2 hours together in an intensive therapeutic massage session. It was lovely listening to her reasons for this undertaking and about the wonderful people she had met so far on this journey.

She left this morning revitalized and set off for Auckland park.

Ray achieved top 6 position in both categories 50 to 60 heavy weight under 90 kg.

We will be continuing his lymphatic regime to keep him at optimal performance.
