What Does “Esoteric” Really Mean?
And Why I Chose It for My Business
When people first hear the word esoteric, they often think it sounds mysterious, unusual, or even a little magical — and in many ways, that is exactly what drew me to it.
The word esoteric comes from the Greek word esōterikos, which means inner or belonging to an inner circle. Traditionally, it referred to wisdom, teachings, and knowledge that went beyond the surface of everyday life — knowledge connected to spirituality, healing, energy, symbolism, and deeper understanding.
For me, the word esoteric is not about secrecy or exclusion.
It is about connection.
It represents the journey inward:
discovering who you truly are,
reconnecting with your intuition,
healing emotionally and spiritually,
and surrounding yourself with meaningful energy.
When I started Blayz Creations, I wanted a name and identity that reflected more than just products. I wanted it to represent a feeling… a sanctuary… a space where people could explore crystals, spirituality, wellness, self-love, and holistic living without judgment.
That is why the phrase:
“A Paradise of Bohemian, Esoteric & Holistic Delights”
became such an important part of my brand.
The esoteric world embraces many things that I personally love and believe in:
crystals and their energy,
meditation and mindfulness,
manifestation and intention setting,
spiritual healing,
sacred rituals,
holistic wellness,
and finding beauty in the unseen energies around us.
Over the years, Blayz Creations has grown into more than a business. It has become a community of people seeking peace, healing, comfort, growth, and authenticity.
Every crystal, workshop, bracelet, incense blend, smudging product, and wellness item I choose carries intention behind it. Whether someone is beginning their spiritual journey or has walked this path for many years, my hope is that they feel welcomed, inspired, and understood.
To me, esoteric means:

✨ feeling deeper,
✨ healing deeper,
✨ and remembering that there is more to life than what we see on the surface.
And perhaps that is the true essence of what I wanted my business to stand for all along.
