Introducing Deidri Odendaal, our newest team member who recently joined the practice in January 2025 ✨
Deidri completed her BSc Physiotherapy degree at Stellenbosch University in 2023. As an avid runner, she strongly believes that movement and an active lifestyle are the best ways to care for the body and prevent injury.
Having experienced multiple shoulder injuries and surgeries herself, Deidri developed a deep appreciation for functional rehabilitation in sports and orthopaedic injuries. She is passionate about helping athletes and active individuals regain strength and mobility, ensuring they return to doing what they love. Her work with children has also fostered a keen interest in paediatric physiotherapy, as she enjoys playing a role in their development. Additionally, Deidri is dedicated to pain management, believing that no one should have to live with unnecessary discomfort.
A committed lifelong learner, Deidri continuously seeks opportunities to expand her knowledge and refine her skills to provide the best possible care for her patients.
Outside of work, she loves spending time by the ocean and appreciating the beauty of Hermanus. Whether she’s exploring nature or enjoying quality time with family and friends, she finds balance and inspiration in the world around her.
