β Sunscreen questions and answers
Q. Should I use sunscreen in front of my computer?
A. Yes. You should wear sunscreen if you're using a digital screen. Sunscreen protects your skin against visible light - including blue light from screens.
Q. Why is it important to wear sunscreen indoors?
A. The two types of UV rays that make it to the earth's surface, UVA & UVB, can both damage the skin. UVB rays, a major contributor to skin cancer development, are filtered out by the glass in windows, but UVA rays, which cause skin damage & ageing, can pass through it.
Q. How often should I use a sunscreen?
A. The American Academy of Dermatology recommends reapplying sunscreen every two hours or immediately after swimming or sweating.
