Yoga training:
200 Hr Teacher Training at the Shala, Vinyassa style.
300 Hr Teacher Training at the Wellness Connection, Intelligent Sequencing. "I teach vinyassa flow yoga with attention to safe and blissful alignment of poses, in creative and fun yoga sequences. Through my yoga, I intend to bring harmony within, by realigning and balancing the meridians (energy lines) and releasing emotional blockages stored in the body's tissue through deep stretches. This practice relieves stress and allows Prana to flow more smoothly, uplifting one into a lighter and more vibrant space. Releasing tension in the muscles can help shift stuck emotions and create space within for greater self awareness. Deep warmups and mindful flows support our inner transformation as we access the heart space, our feeling space. The conscious movement of yoga flow and Pranayama helps us to connect with an inner Peace and Stillness. I grew up in Cape Town and studied Journalism and Psychology at Rhodes University. After working as a Stylist in the Film Industry and having twin boys, I moved on to teach Yoga, seeking out a more holistic life.

Kim Cornell teaches Yoga at various Studios and Gyms in Hermanus, and also offers Private classes. She is trained in Vinyassa Flow Yoga, and adapts her flows to all levels, from Relaxation, Restorative, Breathing, to Gentle All Levels classes and to energetic, creative Vinyassa Sequences.

About Kim Cornell, Yoga Instructor

Kim did her 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training at the Shala in 2012, in Vinyassa style, and received her 300 Hour Advanced Teacher Training at the Wellness Connection in Intelligent Sequencing. She has attended many Iyengar workshops to study safe and blissful alignment of poses.
