Through my yoga, I intend to bring harmony within, by realigning and balancing the meridians (energy lines) and releasing emotional blockages stored in the body's tissue through deep stretches. This practice relieves stress and allows Prana to flow more smoothly, uplifting one into a lighter and more vibrant space. Releasing tension in the muscles can help shift stuck emotions and create space within for greater self awareness. Deep warmups and mindful flows support our inner transformation as we access the heart space, our feeling space. The conscious movement of yoga flow and Pranayama helps us to connect with an inner Peace and Stillness. I grew up in Cape Town and studied Journalism and Psychology at Rhodes University. After working as a Stylist in the Film Industry and having twin boys, I moved on to teach Yoga, seeking out a more holistic life. Yoga has supported me since my 20's to relax and ground me.
