Hormonal deficiency, i.e. peri-menopause/menopause can start 10 years before your period starts going irregular. We see it as a transition the body is trying to navigate and often, it needs support.

So many women come to me saying:
“I’ve tried everything, supplements, diets, meditation, HIIT, cold plunges… and I still feel off.”
And I understand. Because we’ve been conditioned to believe that healing is about adding more, more tools, more protocols, more pressure.

But what if the real shift happens when you pause and listen?

When we stop pushing and start asking,
“What is my body trying to tell me?”
That’s where healing begins.

In my practice, this means we don’t just treat the symptoms. We explore what’s driving them.
• What is your nervous system responding to?
• Is your gut inflamed and overworked?
• Are your hormones being thrown off by stress, light, or blood sugar swings?
• What beliefs are you holding about your body that may be blocking your healing?

True healing often starts when we stop overriding the whispers of fatigue, anxiety, skin flares, poor sleep and start honouring them as communication.

Integrative Medicine is the approach I use every day in practice. It combines the best of conventional diagnostics with a deep curiosity about the root causes of imbalance in the body.

Yes, I still use blood tests, functional labs, and make referrals when needed - but I also ask about your sleep, your stress levels, your digestion, your nervous system. I want to know what you’re eating, how you’re moving, and whether your body is actually absorbing what you’re giving it.

Because your body is always communicating through symptoms, energy levels, mood, and resilience. And real healing begins when we start to listen to those signals rather than override them.

Integrative Medicine is not about rejecting conventional care
It’s about expanding it
It’s about seeing the whole person, not just isolated parts
And it’s about supporting your body’s innate ability to heal with the right support at the right time
