Pappin & Pretorius Optometrists Welcome to Pappin & Pretorius Optometrists in Hermanus. We offer lifelong eye care ensuring excellen He was joined by Johan Pretorius as new partner in 2003.

Kevern Pappin originally started the practice in 1990 in Harbour Road and relocated to Hamewith, our current premises, in 1995. The building was bought by Harry Viljoen in 2003 and completely rebuilt by 2005. Johan practiced at Gateway Centre Hermanus since 1999 and qualified as optometrist in the mid 1980’s. We are sure that you will experience Johan as a friendly and enthusiastic optometrist with years of experience in fitting all types of contact lenses and multi-focal lenses for spectacles. Johan has various interests and obtained numerous additional diplomas, the latest being a 2009 Advanced Contact Lens Diploma from the Graduate Institute of Optometry in conjunction with New England College of Optometry, Boston, Massachusetts. Johan was Director of Continued Education at the South African Optometric Association for four years. His one great passion is to make sure that you are happy and satisfied with your optical aids. “Your satisfaction is my concern and guarantee!”.
