BIG CHANGES ARE COMING FOR PORTOFINO MASSAGE AS OF 1ST OF JULY

Chris from Portofino Massage will cease working out of the clinic as of end of June
Jacque Karatau from the Stanmore Bay leisure Center will be taking over Chris's spot on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 9.00am thru to 8.00pm

Update on Portofino Massage.23/11/21
With this week’s announcement from the Govt and acting on advise from the Ministry of Health to ALL Allied Health workers and suppliers.

The clinic will be opening up as of Friday the 3rd of December 2021 Booking can be made via our booking system
These rules are :
1. That protocols to meet and greet will change, and you will be met in the outside car park and undergo a questionnaire as per detailed on our web site> https://portofinomassage.co.nz/covid-form/ this form can be completed on line on the day of your visit. This form may change as alerts level change.
2. Current protocols for contact tracing and sanitising are mandatory.
3. We are only dealing with Vaccinated individuals . Therefore have your Vaccine certificate or your MY Vaccine on your phone
4. Use of masks will be mandatory.

Under Level 3 part 1 Massage is unable to be performed, until the current levels are either Level 3 part 3 or Level 2.
In addition we are expecting that new rules will apply when massage becomes available, those rules are :
• That protocols to meet and greet will change, and you will be met in the outside car park and undergo a questionnaire as per detailed on our web site> https://portofinomassage.co.nz/covid-form/ this form can be completed on line on the day of your visit. This form may change as alerts level change.
• Current protocols for contact tracing and sanitizing are mandatory.
• Clients to be Vaccinated will be mandatory.
• Use of masks will be mandatory.
• Under Level 3 part 1 massage can be performed but only to clients who have acute or chronic pain and who are unable to perform daily duties

Once the Auckland Region is in the Red stage, then new rules will apply:

Update on yesterday Govt announcement.

Its now a lot clearer that massage can only resume once the Govt allows for Level 3 step 3 to arrive, until that date the clinic will remain closed, sorry for the inconvenience. The booking system has been reset for a further 2 weeks .

With todays announcement regarding the levels for Covid, due to the fact that we are still remaining in Level 3 , this means that all massages are still not an accepted activity.
As a result I have to cancel ALL massages until such time as clarity from the Government or Massage NZ what today’s announcement actually means.
It may be that the once the 3rd step that allows close contact activities, will also allow massage. That is still yet to be determined.
Until then the clinic has to remain closed until level 2 or when deemed safe to undertake as the classification of the levels are clearly spelt out.
Sorry about this. As a result those who have booked a massage now has to be cancelled.

Updated today the 21 st of Sept.

The clinic will remain closed while the COVID is in the community and under level 4 and level 3
We were expecting to open up soon, but with the current situation we can't until level 2 resumes.

Possibly the 6th of Oct if we go down to Level 2.

The booking system has been updated and once we know when level 2 will arrive, we have no option but to remain closed.
