Smart pens - novo nordisk have smart pens available for persons living with diabetes and injecting insulin, they are R1000 and last for 4 years, it makes it easier to manage your Diabetes as there is a record of the dose and the time and that information feeds to glooko for free (mahala), MEdical aids do not pay for the pen (by and large) but it is a great investment if you are on the insulin that goes into this pen- any novo insulin and possibly more
