PINEAPPLE JAM🤩🍍
Sticky, sweet, and bursting with pineapple flavor, this homemade jam is perfect on toast, over ice cream, or in your favorite baked treats 🍞🍍
INGREDIENTS
- 2 cups pineapple, fresh, canned, or
frozen.
- 1 cup granulated white sugar.
Optional
- 1 tbsp lemon juice.
- ½ tsp ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, or vanilla extract.
METHOD
Preparing the Pineapple:
- Fresh: Cut into chunks and pulse in a blender until
crushed but still textured.
- Canned: Use as is, reserving the juice.
- Frozen: Thaw fully, then pulse until crushed (not
pureed).
Making the Jam:
1. Combine crushed pineapple, juice, sugar, and
lemon juice (if using) in a large pot.
2. Bring to a boil over medium heat, then simmer on
low. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
3. Cook for 30–40 minutes, until thickened to your
liking.
4. Remove from heat, let cool, and stir in optional
flavors like vanilla or cinnamon.
Transfer to a clean jar and refrigerate. Keeps for a few weeks. Enjoy! 🍍😋
