Hoedspruit Family Practice is very sad to be bidding farewell to our wonderful Dr Sarah Best. Sarah has been an absolute asset to the practice, joining us during Dr Julia’s maternity leave and providing amazing support and care to so many patients.
Sarah will be relocating to KwaZulu-Natal to persue her dream of studying further to become a Paediatrician. We wish her well in all her future plans and obviously pray she returns to Hoedspruit as a fully qualified specialist one day. Thank you so much Sarah 🙏

Farewell to Dr Kate van den Aardweg

We are so proud to hear of Dr Kate’s sudden acceptance into a medical officer role in Ophthalmology - a career that she has been longing to pursue. Dr Kate has been a wonderful asset to our practice contributing significantly to the well-being of our community. Her commitment and compassion have left a lasting impact and for that she will be sorely missed as she makes the move back to the city.

While it is with mixed emotions that we bid her farewell, we are excited about the bright future that awaits her in this new venture. The transition will take place in the coming week, and we are working diligently to ensure a smooth handover of patient care.

Rest assured, the Hoedspruit Family Practice remains committed to providing you with the same high-quality healthcare you have come to expect. The health team will continue to serve your medical needs with the utmost care and expertise.

We would like to express our gratitude to Dr Kate for her invaluable contributions to our practice and for the trust and loyalty you, our patients, have shown her over the past year. We wish her all the best in her new endeavor.
