Progressive overload... this means that you keep adding weight to your training, so that your body is forced to adapt and get stronger. When we get older, the hard work lies in just staying the same, - you have to train your ass off, just so you don't begin to age like an old fart... - said with respect to all the old farts out there - myself included.
