✨ Sharing kindness is the way to a happy heart. ✨

Kindness is more than a gentle gesture - it’s a biochemical gift. When you give, receive, or even simply observe an act of kindness, your brain and body respond:

Dopamine - the “feel-good” neurotransmitter - creates what’s often called the helper’s high, lifting your mood and giving a natural sense of reward.
Oxytocin - the hormone of bonding and trust - rises through moments of connection, softening stress and deepening relationships.

Kindness nourishes both heart and nervous system, weaving together science and soul. It’s a simple yet profound way to cultivate wellbeing, resilience, and joy.

It’s been just over a year since I made the choice to live alcohol-free—and the shifts have been deeper than I ever imagined.

My energy has lifted.
My sleep is more restorative.
My skin feels clearer and more alive.
My thoughts feel sharper, my emotions more steady.
And perhaps most importantly, I’ve built a deeper trust in myself—my ability to cope, to process, to move through life with more calm presence.

After walking through illness and rebuilding my wellness from the inside out, I know just how essential clarity, rest, and self-connection truly are. Choosing to let go of alcohol was a big part of that. It wasn’t about restriction—it was about choosing what I wanted more of.

Over the past year, I’ve also had the privilege of consulting at an addictions clinic as an embodiment and movement specialist—supporting individuals in cultivating tools to lean into instead of self-medicating. In this work, I integrate aspects of yoga, mindfulness, and pranayama to help people reconnect to their bodies, calm their nervous systems, and access more peace from within.

If you’re navigating a similar path—whether it’s cutting back, breaking habits, or simply longing to feel more clear, more grounded, more you—I want you to know that I see you. I’ve been there. And I’d be honoured to walk alongside you.

When my marriage ended, when I was healing from cancer, when I was holding deep personal loss—it was bodywork, coaching, and weekly embodiment practices that helped me find my way back.

Now I guide others to do the same.

Thank you 2024 for all you taught me through my work, relationships, my self practice, my growth. I have found many beautiful moments that have anchored me through the challenges. I have learnt to lean in to the support from others as well as to tune in to my own self regulators. I am extremely grateful to be in my life, my journey. Thank you to those that walk beside me that join me on certain parts of the road - in person, remotely and even just energetically 🙏

Grief and Gratitude

My last workshop for 2024 will be on Saturday 7th December from 9-11am. The theme is Gratitude & Grief.

Gratitude and grief might feel like opposites, but they’re deeply connected. When we recognize what we have, we also feel the weight of what’s missing. Grief reflects our humanity, while gratitude helps us find strength and even peace within the pain.

The session will be an embodiment practice. A personal experience to feel into.

Are you ready for change and wanting to live your life to the fullest?

Yoga, meaning union, is a beautiful practice to get you into your body, and out of your looping thoughts. Yoga is not just the movement (asana), but also breath, meditation, self study, a leaning in to feelings and emotions and more than anything, a practice to calm the nervous system.

Working closely with addiction I have seen how transformative the practice is. Yoga can become a powerful tool to help overcome the need to escape, to grasp to pleasure seeking behaviour such as drugs, alcohol, s*x, gambling, or over-eating….
The pain of being with some deeply entrenched trauma can feel as though it is too much, and i have found that the practice of yoga can become an incredible support, a container to help you move towards more authenticity and live your best life.

While addiction has served a purpose in your life, you may find that it is starting to hinder your growth, and stealing your time. Take control of your well-being.

I am a registered Therapeutic Reflexologist, Massage Therapist, Wellness Coach and Yoga Teacher. I work holistically with my Clients to help them find more embodiment, authenticity and contentment. It is not about avoidance or deflection, but more about acceptance of what is, and having the tools and support to help navigate the turbulence.

Self care is a beautiful way to reinforce the love you have for yourself. No one else can take better care of you, than YOU! Finding the time and space to get out of your head and into your body…. is where the magic happens! Your body’s innate wisdom will speak to you.
