By evening, the lights of Milan were glowing beneath me. Then the wild mountains of Ethiopia.

And finally… home. Cape Town.

Grateful for a life that stretches across borders, seasons, and skies.

Filler does not randomly move. Incorrect placement moves it.

0.7 ml of hyaluronic acid. Natural volume. Defined shape. No migration.

Today I treated my patient’s lips with 0.7 ml of HA — placed precisely where it belongs.

Let’s clear up one of the biggest myths circulating online right now: Hyaluronic acid does NOT just “wander” around the face.

The lip is not an empty balloon. It is a structured, perforated compartment. When filler is placed correctly inside this anatomical space, it stays there. It integrates. It does its job.

What I do NOT inject: the so-called “crispy borders.”
Why? Because at the very edge of the lip there are no true retaining compartments. Injecting too superficially or into the wrong plane can allow product to shift upward — and that’s when you see the classic “duck lip” effect.

The same principle applies to the entire face.
The face is organized in fat pads — superficial and deep compartments with clear anatomical boundaries.
If hyaluronic acid is placed precisely into these fat pads, it remains stable and supports structure beautifully.

If it is injected:
too superficially
• too deep
• outside the fat pads
• or by someone who does not understand facial anatomy
.. Then yes — migration can occur.

Filler does not randomly move.

Incorrect placement moves it.

Experience, anatomical knowledge, and surgical understanding matter. Inject less. Inject precisely. Inject where nature designed space for it.

Heute habe ich diese Nachricht bekommen, über die ich mich wieder einmal do gefreut habe, dass ich sie teilen möchte
Eine Patientin hat mir geschrieben, wie glücklich sie mit ihrem Ergebnis ist – und dass genau solche Momente der Grund dafür sind, warum ich meinen Job so liebe.
Und ehrlich? Genau DAS ist es. Nicht nur das perfekte Vorher-Nachher. Sondern dieses Gefühl, wenn jemand wieder selbstbewusst in den Spiegel schaut. Wenn aus Unsicherheit Leichtigkeit wird.
Solche Nachrichten erinnern mich daran, warum ich jeden Tag alles gebe. Für echte Ergebnisse. Für Natürlichkeit. Für dieses Strahlen, das man nicht operieren kann – aber möglich machen darf.

I am not the most beautiful person in the world.

Was meiner Arbeit Sinn gibt .. das seid Ihr ❤️

Wenn ich solche Nachrichten erhalte, macht alles für mich Sinn. Mein Beruf ist für mich weit mehr als Geld zu verdienen, und meine Flüge nach Deutschland sind mehr als Geschäftsreisen. Es macht einen Unterschied, dass ich als Person euch behandle – und genau das erfüllt mich.

My lips - of - the - day ❤️ Heute habe ich diese Lippen mit nur 0,6 ml einer plumpy Hyaluronsäure aufgebaut. Wichtig ist: Nicht jede Lippe kann sofort so aussehen. Instagram lässt oft anderes vermuten, aber die natürliche Anatomie setzt den Rahmen – es braucht genug eigenes Gewebe, damit eine definierte Form überhaupt möglich ist.

Mit der richtigen Technik kann man trotzdem sehr viel erreichen, wie ihr hier seht. Bei festeren, plumpy Präparaten ist regelmäßiges Massieren wichtig, damit sich alles gleichmäßig verteilt. Was man dagegen niemals machen sollte, ist ausschließlich den Lippenrand zu betonen. Dieses früher gehypte “crispy lips”-Pattern führt fast immer zur Migration. Dann entstehen die typischen unnatürlichen Ränder und ein sichtbarer Schnabelmund.

Hier sieht man, wie harmonisch Lippen aussehen können, wenn Technik, Material und Anatomie zusammenpassen.

Oberlidstraffungen gehören zu meinen liebsten Eingriffen. Viele überlegen jahrelang, oft verunsichert durch falsche Informationen – etwa, dass man den Eingriff nur durchführen darf, wenn der Befund sehr ausgeprägt ist. Das stimmt nicht. Und es gibt keine feste Grenze, wie oft man den Bereich behandeln kann.

Bei der Operation entferne ich überschüssige Haut sowie das Fett, das sich im mittleren und seitlichen Lidbereich nach vorne drückt. Zusätzlich straffe ich den Muskel. Am Ende schließe ich alles mit einer feinen, innenliegenden Naht, sodass später praktisch keine sichtbare Narbe bleibt.

Auf dem Foto seht ihr die entfernten Hautlappen – insgesamt 1,7 cm pro Seite. Dieses Bild gebe ich meinen Patientinnen immer mit, weil es den Eingriff greifbar macht und zeigt, was wirklich verändert wurde.
