πŸ’Ÿ At Physikids we work in Early Intervention, starting therapy treatment as early as possible to minimise or prevent delays in development.

πŸ’Ÿ In the NICU, therapy is called Neurodevelopmental Supportive Care, and is designed to support the infant’s systems to protect them from long-term fallout, as well as assessing neurodevelopment along the way.

17 April is World Heamophilia Day! β™₯️🩸
From WFH:
β€œWorld Hemophilia Day is about bringing the global bleeding disorders community together. With the COVID-19 pandemic having a major impact on people with a bleeding disorder, that objective has never been more important. The world has changed greatly over the last year, but one thing hasn’t: we are still in this together. Join us on April 17, 2021 and tell us how you have adapted to change during this unique time, and how you are working hard to help sustain care in a new world!”

πŸ₯²πŸ₯Ί Pre-Covid, pre-masks, pre-worlds-turned-upside-down.
This was the Friday that we drove around the city looking for liquid gold hand sanitiser and started writing Covid-19 protocols for our therapy centre.

What a ride🎒 So today we are reflecting on the ROLLERCOASTER that was March 2020-March2021 🀯πŸ₯΄

πŸ™πŸΌ A big β€œthank you” to all our patients who grew, learnt, adapted and changed along the way with us πŸ˜‡

We have the great privilege of knowing and working with many children who have a rare and often undiagnosed condition, and we are honoured to be on these journeys with them and their families πŸ™πŸΌ
