🤧 Allergies or a Cold? Here’s How to Tell the Difference
It’s that time of year when sniffles, sneezing and stuffy noses are everywhere - but how do you know if it’s a cold or allergies?
Here’s a quick guide:
If your symptoms include itchy eyes, a runny nose with clear mucus, sneezing fits, or symptoms that last for weeks, you’re likely dealing with seasonal allergies. These are your body’s response to things like pollen, dust, or pet dander - not a virus.
If you’re feeling run-down, have a sore throat, a mild fever, body aches, or thicker mucus, chances are it’s a common cold. Colds usually come on suddenly and last about 7–10 days.
