Festive Season Reminder: Safe S*x Is Self-Care🎄

The holidays bring joy, celebration, and sometimes… a little extra romance. But before things get festive-festive, here’s your gentle MyOBGYN reminder, protect your s*xual health. 💛

⭐Use protection, condoms help prevent STIs and unplanned pregnancies.
⭐Know your partner, trust is great, but testing is better.
⭐Stay prepared, keep protection on hand, not as an afterthought.
⭐Book a check-up, the end of the year is the perfect time to prioritise YOU.

Safe s*x isn’t about spoiling the fun, it’s about taking charge of your body, your health, and your peace of mind.

Stay safe, stay smart, and enjoy the season responsibly.💛

Ovulation is the moment in your cycle when your body releases a mature egg, your most fertile time of the month. It usually happens about halfway through your cycle, but every woman is different.

Here’s what’s really going on:
🔸One o***y releases an egg
🔸The egg travels into the fallopian tube
🔸It hangs around for 12–24 hours
🔸This is when pregnancy can happen if s***m is present

You might notice:
Slight cramps, increased discharge (clear + stretchy), higher libido and breast tenderness.

Ovulation is a key part of understanding your fertility, your hormones, and your overall cycle health.
The more you know, the more in tune you become with your body. 💛

To the mama who is running on coffee, cuddles, and a whole lot of love, you are doing an incredible job.

✨Hugs that feel like a warm blanket
✨Patience for the moments that test you

It’s normal for periods to be a little unpredictable from time to time, but persistent irregular cycles can be a sign that something is off. 💛

You might notice:
👉Cycles shorter than 21 days or longer than 35 days
👉Missed periods or very light/heavy bleeding
👉Severe cramps or unusual spotting
👉Sudden changes in your cycle

💛When to see your gynae:
👉If your cycle is consistently irregular for several months
👉If bleeding is very heavy, very painful, or accompanied by other symptoms like fatigue or hair loss
👉If you’re trying to conceive and irregular cycles are making it difficult

Your doctor can help uncover the cause, whether it’s hormonal changes, stress, thyroid issues, or something else, and guide you on the best way forward.

While a balanced diet is key, certain vitamins and supplements can help support you and your baby’s health:

-Folic Acid: Helps prevent neural tube defects, usually recommended before conception and in the first 12 weeks.
👉Iron: Supports your blood and helps prevent fatigue.
👉Calcium & Vitamin D: Essential for strong bones and teeth for both you and your baby.
👉Omega-3 (DHA): Supports your baby’s brain and eye development.
👉Prenatal Multivitamins: Can help fill any gaps in your diet and give you peace of mind.

A gentle reminders:

Always talk to your healthcare provider before starting any new supplement.

Pregnancy is a time to nurture yourself, from the inside out. Taking these little steps can make a big difference, for you and your baby. 🌸

It’s normal to have questions (or worries!) about getting intimate again after birth.

Your body has been through so much, and it’s okay if things feel different:
Vaginal soreness or dryness
Changes in desire
Emotional ups and downs
Tiredness (oh, the sleepless nights!)

Here are some gentle reminders:
💛Be patient with yourself. There’s no rush, listen to your body and take your time.
💛Talk with your partner. Sharing how you feel can help you both reconnect in new ways.
💛Use lubrication if needed. Comfort matters.
💛Take it slow. Soft, gentle intimacy is perfectly okay.
💛Check in with your healthcare provider. Any pain, bleeding, or concerns deserve attention.

Remember, your body and your relationship are both adjusting, and that’s completely normal. You don’t have to “bounce back” or hit any timelines.
