Kinesiology tape (K-Tape) is a therapeutic elastic tape made from cotton used to support muscles, joints, and tendons without restricting movement. It is designed to mimic the elasticity of human skin. It can be worn for several days, even during showers and sports activities.

Benefits of K-Tape:
☑️ Pain Reduction – Lifts the skin slightly, reducing pressure on pain receptors.
☑️ Improved Blood Flow & Lymphatic Drainage – Assists in reducing swelling and bruising.
☑️ Muscle Support – Provides stability to muscles and joints without restricting range of motion.
☑️ Enhanced Recovery – Supports injured tissues and improves circulation to speed up healing.
☑️ Posture Correction – Can help correct alignment and posture in shoulders, back, or knees.

Common Uses include:

In light of the comrades marathon taking place this weekend, here is how physio can help runners.

Commin injuries in running:
- Runner's knee (patellofemoral pain syndrome)
- IT Band Syndrome
- Shin Splints
