Look how zen this dude looks. Do you struggle to keep your eyes closed? Is meditation one of those things you want to do in theory, but in practice your monkey mind takes over? Yup, me too.

My Yin classes now come with short guided meditations to end off our session to help you get used to longer mindful meditations, including breathwork. New themes for each class!

It arrived! I started my journey with natural movement earlier this year. Reclining Twist helps restore equilibrium in the nervous system and release tension in your spine.

When I teach this I encourage my students to think of it as your body split into two poses; upper body lying on its back and the lower body on its side.

There are a few variations of this, like extending your top leg in front of you, knees crossed or drawing your knee close to the chest.

I find Half Moon rather satisfying. As this is one of the Hot 26 poses, it’s far easier to get into a good stretch in a heated room, but I reckon the way this weather is going we’ll be able to do it outside soon enough.
