Application Specialist Mammography Bone Densitometry and General X-Ray.

If you are coming from a pure clinical background or have already been working in the commercial world, experience within Mammography and Bone Densitometry is vital.
This position provides the opportunity to contribute towards customer satisfaction and after sales support for the breast and skeletal health portfolio. Training for new and existing customers to enable optimal use of the products.
MANDITORY REQUIREMENTS:
- Qualified Radiographer with Post Graduate Diploma in Mammography
- Valid HPCSA Card
- Valid Driver’s License
- Valid Passport
- Covid Vaccination Certificate
- Computer Literate with basic skills but open to learn
- Be willing and able to travel locally, and Internationally at any given time
- Assisting in all Provinces in South Africa and within the Sub-Saharan region
- Digital Mammography experience and knowledge of screening and diagnostic procedures
- At least 2 years clinical stereotactic biopsy experience, working within a Mammography department will be an advantage
- Experience with Vacuum Biopsy and consumables would be beneficial
- Experience and knowledge about Bone Densitometry scanning.
- Experience of working in a clinical environment
- Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills
- CRICE Certified – is required but not mandatory. The successful applicant will be required to complete the CRICE within 3 months of joining the company
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Demonstrating Radiology imaging equipment to new and existing customers onsite.
- Assisting the sales team to ensure the full potential of the equipment is demonstrated
- After sales product training and support following a training schedule onsite and continuous follow up once initial training is completed
- Training includes the use of the Mammography and Bone Densitometry equipment
- Stereotactic biopsy is a vital part of the imaging set-up and continuous support is required
- Attending and hosting workshops and conferences
- Remote support and assistance
- Promoting and encouraging the use of biopsy consumables
- Maintain excellent customer relationships to ensure continued use and confidence of the products
- Provide feedback on current affairs within the field and assisting with growth of the company
- Assisting with marketing and the promotion of the Hologic Breast and Skeletal Health equipment and providing support where needed
