Yoga is a powerful tool for cultivating both mindfulness & contemplation. Through the union of breath & movement, yoga helps us tune into our bodies & minds.

Each posture becomes an opportunity to practice presence, while the moments of stillness offer space for contemplation.

❤️Here are a few ways to integrate mindfulness & contemplation into your yoga practice & daily life❤️

💫Set an Intention:
Before starting your practice, take a moment to reflect on why you’re on your mat today. What do you need—physically, mentally, or spiritually?

💫Focus on the Breath:
Use the breath as an anchor to stay present in each pose. Notice the rhythm of your inhalations & exhalations as you move.

💫Be Present in Each Pose:
Rather than rushing through the sequence, allow yourself to fully experience each posture.
Feel the stretch, the balance, and the effort required, but also notice where you can soften and release.

💫End with Meditation:
Conclude your practice with a few minutes of silent contemplation or meditation. Reflect on what surfaced during your practice, & let that reflection guide your next steps off the mat.
