You can’t keep doing the same thing and expect different results…

Me: No explanation.

👉 Supplements are highly individual. Just because I’m taking something doesn’t mean you need to take it too. Most of what your body needs should come from your diet. Supplements are there to supplement an already good diet, not replace one. That said, here’s what’s making the cut for my 75 Keto Challenge:

⚡ .revive
When you lower carbs, your body holds onto less water and flushes out more electrolytes. This is why so many people get headaches, fatigue, muscle cramps, and the dreaded keto flu when starting out. Electrolytes are one of the most important supplements on a keto lifestyle and something I prioritise every day.

🐄  Kudu Liver Capsules
Nature’s multivitamin. Liver is packed with highly bioavailable vitamin A, B vitamins, iron, copper, choline, and other nutrients. I use kudu liver because it’s a wild game source with no concerns around antibiotics or feedlot practices.

🥚  Egg White Protein Powder
Protein is my number one priority. This just makes it easier to hit my daily protein goals, especially on busy days or when I’m fasting. It’s a convenient way to increase protein intake without adding unnecessary carbs or risking insulin spikes.

💁‍♀️  Glow Hair Regeneration for Women
I originally started taking these last year as an experiment. The thing is they actually worked really well so here we are 😂 My hair became noticeably thicker, healthier and now grows really quickly, so I never stopped taking them. Sometimes the best supplement is the one that delivers exactly what it promises.

✨ OVO Collagen Peptides
Collagen supports healthy skin, hair, nails, joints, connective tissue, and recovery. As we age, collagen production naturally declines, I’m turning 40 this year so it something that I’m focusing on.

June deliveries are here for the Garden Girl Grow Club 🌱📦

It’s actually embarrassing to think about the fact that I used to kill every plant I touched 😭 I’m not exaggerating when I say I once nearly lost a succulent. A SUCCULENT.

Now suddenly I have herbs, veggies and edible flowers growing and I walk around my garden acting like I live on a little homestead 😂 Maybe chickens are next 🤔 🐓

I honestly love this subscription so much because you don’t need to know what you’re doing. sends you the right seeds for the season, tells you exactly what to do, and helps you if you get stuck or confused.

Also such a cute gift idea for someone who’s been saying they want to start a veggie garden but keeps buying coriander and letting it die every week 🌿😭 (yes that was me)

Brushing teeth just got a whole lot less painful for both of us 🦷 🪥

She's seven, her permanent teeth are coming in, and we finally have a routine that I don't have to permanently nag her about. The Jordan toothbrush has a little indicator that tells you exactly how much toothpaste to use, so no more squeezing out half the tube.

The fruity flavour means zero convincing from me. She just does it. As a nutrition coach that's the part that matters most to me. 98% natural, sugar-free, and she actually likes it.

Honestly, a happy kid brushing her teeth at bedtime without being asked twice? That's the real win.

Available at selected Clicks, DisChem, Pick 'n Pay and Checkers.

Does your kid actually enjoy brushing or do you still have to nag? Tell me below 👇

Another day, another label reading 👀☕️

Today: Jacobs Cappuccino sachets, Cadbury Whole Nut Mocha flavour.

A few things I always check:

• Nutrition info per 100g AND per serving
• Ingredients are listed biggest to smallest quantity

Sugar was ingredient number one 👀 Then glucose syrup and maltodextrin showed up too. The actual coffee? Only 6.1% 😅

Then come the additives:

• E340 = potassium phosphates
• E452 = polyphosphates

These are used for texture and shelf life, but phosphate additives are absorbed differently to those naturally found in whole foods and excess intake has been linked to health concerns in some research.

When you see:

• Sugar first
• Multiple forms of sugar
• Flavourings
• Emulsifiers
• Stabilisers
• Thickeners
• Only 6.1% coffee

…you’re looking at an ultra-processed product built for taste and shelf life.

And before the comments start cardio training 😂 Yes, calories matter. But hormones matter too. Blood sugar and insulin affect hunger, cravings, energy and fat storage.

This series isn’t about perfection. It’s about awareness.

Frisco came out slightly better than Ricoffy… but better doesn’t automatically mean good 👀

The ingredients are pretty much the same, but Frisco seems to come in with a little less sugar. That matters. But if your goal is improving your health, lowering insulin spikes, or making better daily choices, the goal isn’t just finding the “least bad” option.

First prize? Fresh ground coffee beans. If you can do ethically sourced, organic beans too, amazing. But I also live in the real world and I know many South Africans are working with tight budgets right now, myself included.

So here are a few ways to do better without spending a fortune:

• Read the label. Sugar often hides in plain sight.
• Look for coffee that’s actually coffee, with fewer extras added.
• Plain instant coffee can still be a better choice than sweetened mixes.
• Tea can be a budget friendly option too. Rooibos, black tea, green tea. Less processing and often less hidden stuff.
• less cups of better quality.

You don’t need perfection. You just need to make the next choice a little better than the last one 💖

What coffee are you drinking at home right now? ☕️ Do you have an budget friendly coffee finds?

People call keto restrictive. That has never been my experience.

What I eat now is food I actually enjoy. Simple meals that keep me full, steady, and feeling good in my body. Nothing about it feels like punishment or missing out.

My mindset is not “I can’t have that” it’s “I don’t want that because of how it makes my body feel”.

What felt restrictive to me was the other life. The one where I was uncomfortable in my own skin. Clothes never sitting right. Always tired. Energy all over the place. Mood swings that came out of nowhere. Bad skin. Just pushing through every day and calling it normal.

I don’t live that anymore.

This way of eating has supported my 45kg weight loss and helped reverse my insulin resistance, but what matters more is how I feel living it. I’ve changed my relationship with food yes but also with myself and that is the most magical thing.

These are some of the meals that I enjoy. There are so many ways to live this life, find one that brings you joy 💖

POV: my supplement drawer just got a proper upgrade 💪

Unboxing my haul and I’m super excited about this one

New goodies include:
• Creatine
• Collagen peptides
• Their improved egg white protein powder 👏

I’ve used their egg white protein for ages because it’s clean, high protein, and woke spike my blood sugar like whey does. But this new version? It mixes instantly into drinks with ease, no weird clumps, no aggressive shaking like your life depends on it 😂

As a busy solo mom and coach, convenience matters. If something makes getting my protein in quicker and easier, I’m here for it.

Can’t wait to test these properly and share updates with you all.

If you want to give them a try too, check the link and discount code in my bio ✨
