How to Get Your Kids to Eat Healthy 🫐🍳🥓🍍

The goal isn’t to force healthy food on them, it’s to inspire it✨

🛒 Get them involved – Let them come shopping with you and pick the fruits, veggies, and meats they want to try. When they choose it, they’re far more likely to eat it.

👩‍🍳 Cook together – Let them help you in the kitchen. Mixing, chopping (with safe tools and supervision!), stirring, it all makes them excited to taste what they’ve made.

👀 Lead by example – Our kids learn from what we do, not what we say. If you make healthy choices, they naturally follow.

💬 Teach them – Explain what different foods do for our bodies. “Protein helps your muscles grow strong” or “veggies help your tummy feel good.” They love understanding why.

🌈 Make it fun – Try colorful plates, fun names for foods or themed dinners.

⏳ Don’t pressure – Keep offering healthy options without forcing it. Kids often need to see a food a few times before they try it, that’s normal.

Healthy eating starts at home, not with restriction, but with example, education, and excitement 💖

✨ Airfryer Yogurt Pudding ✨

Who else loves a quick treat that’s basically milk tart vibes in a ramekin? 😍 Drop a 🍮 if you’re a milk tart fan!

🥣 Ingredients:

2 eggs

1 tbsp KETO CO. allulose (or to taste)

1 tsp USISI BRANDS Sweetie Darling Spice

120g double cream yogurt

💨 Mix it all together, pour into a ramekin, and airfry at 160°C for 12–15 mins until puffed and just set.

Serve warm straight from the airfryer… or chill overnight for a creamy, pudding style treat. Top with some berries. Perfect for breakfast prep or a sneaky dessert.

Calories: 230
Fat: 15g
Protein: 16g
Net Carbs: 2g

🥓 Getting a bit of meat fatigue on carnivore? Sometimes it’s nice to mix things up with a recipe like this Carnivore Pasta, a cheesy, creamy, bacon packed treat to stop things from getting boring 😍

Carnivore Pasta
Serving Size: 1

Ingredients (Pasta):

45g cream cheese

2 eggs, beaten

Oryx Desert Salt or seasonings of your choice

Method (Pasta):

Preheat oven to 180°C.

Mix cream cheese and eggs until smooth. Season to taste.

Pour onto a silicone or well-lined baking sheet.

Bake for 15 minutes until set and slightly golden.

Allow to cool slightly, then roll up and slice into 1cm thick strips to form your pasta.

Ingredients (Sauce):

100g streaky bacon, diced (half a pack)

200ml cream

45g cream cheese

1/4 cup grated Parmesan

Salt or seasonings of your choice

Method (Sauce):

Cook bacon until crispy, then remove and set aside.

In the same pot, add cream and cream cheese. Cook until slightly thickened.

Stir in Parmesan until well combined.

Add bacon back in and mix through. Pour over your Carnivore Pasta.

Total Dish Macros:
Fat: 39g

Protein: 26g

Carbs: 2g

Calories: 520 kcal

Calling all my fellow pasta addicts 🍝
Yes, you heard me, even on keto, you can have a creamy, cheesy mac and cheese thanks to TrulyGood Sweet Potato & Cauliflower Macaroni. I tested it, and honestly… it tastes just like the real thing. Mind blown 🤯

Here’s my keto mac and cheese recipe:

Ingredients

1 pack bacon (cut into pieces)

Truly Good Food Sweet Potato & Cauliflower Macaroni

150ml cream

3 tbsp cream cheese

300g cheddar cheese (grated, divided 200g & 100g)

1 tsp Dijon mustard

Salt, to taste (I love )

White pepper, to taste

A pinch of nutmeg

Method:

1. Preheat oven to 180°C.

2. Cook bacon in an oven proof pot until crispy, then set aside. (I love the Creuset South Africa cast iron pots as it's easy to take from stove to oven).

2. In the same pot, add cream, cream cheese, Dijon mustard, salt, white pepper, and nutmeg. Heat gently until sauce starts to thicken. Then add the 200g cheddar and stir till well combined.

4. While the sauce is thickening, blanch macaroni for 3 minutes (don’t fully cook to avoid mushy pasta when baked). Drain.

4. Add macaroni and bacon back into the thickened sauce. Mix well.

6. Sprinkle remaining cheddar on top.

7. Bake in the oven for 10–15 minutes, until golden and bubbly.

8. Serve hot and enjoy your guilt free keto mac and cheese 🧀

Month end chaos = everyone’s defaulting to “just grab takeaways” 👀

🥦🧀 Keto Broccoli & Feta Squares – your new favourite keto side!

Ingredients:

200g broccoli florets

1 tsp olive oil + spray for baking dish

4 spring onions, diced

3 tbsp fresh dill, chopped

75g almond flour

1 tsp baking powder

½ tsp salt

2 large eggs, lightly beaten

60ml olive oil

120ml unsweetened almond milk

115g feta cheese, crumbled

125g mozzarella cheese, shredded

3 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
