We share a mother’s story from the UK — a moment no parent ever expects.

💛 Another Life Saved with LifeVac

“I saw one of my teachers banging on the door. She was holding her son — he was purple — and she kept saying, ‘We need the LifeVac. We need the LifeVac.’”

On 27 February, staff at Jungle Town Daycare acted quickly when 2-year-old Maverick began choking on a sucker.
Assistant director Misty Lloyd immediately grabbed the LifeVac device.
"I put the device on him and pulled back — half of the sucker came out into the machine."

Maverick’s mother, Andrea Bolden — also a teacher at the daycare — described the fear of the moment, but the relief of having both trained staff and a LifeVac device available when seconds mattered most.
