Andrew Phillips, Biokineticist

I am a registered biokineticist, who completed his honours in Biokinetics at the University of the Witwaterstrand.

I completed my internship year at the Centre for Diabetes and Endocrinology in Houghton, treating a variety of different conditions, including pre and post operative rehabilitation (knees, hips and shoulders etc.), chronic illnesses (type 1 and 2 Diabetes, strokes, cardiac, hypertension and rheumatoid arthritis etc.), health promotion and wellness (weight loss and fitness assessments) and sports injury rehabilitation and performance. I also completed the advanced course in Diabetes Care. Once qualified I continued to practice at the CDE for a further 4 years.

Andrew Phillips Biokineticists was established in 2017.

I have a keen interest in sport performance and injuries, pre-habilitation and rehabilitation of orthopedic injuries, chronic conditions and the promotion of health.
