Do you ever have the feeling that something is holding you back from living your best life; or maybe from taking the next step; or just from making a decision..... and you just can't put your finger on what it is that's causing this?
Like it's under the radar of your concious awareness, your mind just can't reach there?
Well, it might be that you are bearing something out for an uncle, an aunt, a father or mother, a sibling or someone from the last generation of your family. Yes, it's possible that the un-healed experiences and events of past generations play out in the next one invisibly, because in the end, everything seeks healing.
Family Constellation is a remarkably modern modality that invites such healing just by honoring your intention that you bring into the space. Our past is incredibly thankful - to be witnessed compassionately is often enough for this to move, shift and change!

I am the founder of The Collaborative Healing Centre, which is a 4 ¼ acre piece of land in Kyalami, Johannesburg that provides a space for personal development work to take place in an environment that is specifically designed to support healing work. The land, the animals on the land and the people working with and caring for the space all co-create in this aim together. Our desire is to invite all work that awakens us to our true inner nature and restores our trust and belief in ourselves as essentially healthy physical beings that yearn and love to be creative, imaginative, intuitive and inspired. Learning to recognize what we have constructed between this truth and the way we see and treat ourselves is the start of freedom from within.
Promiseland
The Centre is supporting the growth of a small business development project on the property called Promiseland, which has resulted in the establishment of a thriving organic vegetable garden. We are putting a lot of energy into re-nourishing the soil quality on the property and have developed a sound composting cycle that provides us with a regular supply of compost rich in micro-organisms. Just like our gut needs healthy bacterial diversity, so does the soil require a wide variety of bacteria that break down and transform whatever we throw onto the compost heap.
What qualifies me to practice personal development are the following aspects of my life:
I am a Time To Think Facilitator, Coach and Thinking Partnership teacher.
I practice this modality regularly as a way of continuously testing its value to myself and others.
I am a mother of three children and used the opportunity of raising children as a path of further self-development.
I engage with people and life with passion and a continuous desire to learn and grow for myself and others.
I am a trained Psychophonetics practitioner, which taught me that most “meaningfysation” starts in early childhood when we don’t yet have the consciousness to gather further information to make better decisions. Difficult experiences are hence given meaning by our as yet unformed minds which often lead to life-long behaviours in adulthood that no longer serve us and yet, our lack of awareness of this leads to our suffering and enduring situations that damage and hurt ourselves.
I have worked in the Socio-economic development sector of the South African society which has exposed me to both corporate and business life and the world of township communities. What I have learnt from this work is that we cannot know what drives communities and organizations that function fundamentally different to our own. But what we can know is how differences affect us and what happens inside us when we believe that we have solutions for others.
First and foremost, I am in constant recovery from the belief that I know something for someone else. My Time To Think practice has led me to realise over and over again that the answers to all our questions lie within us and not in a book somewhere, in someone else or in a course that is being offered as a way of bringing solutions to our questions. That does not imply that learning and further information is not helpful, but rather, even essential to our continuous further development but let us never be tempted to try and answer someone else’s burning inner question and deprive them of the opportunity of awakening to that delicious moment themselves where they find the answer deep within themselves.
