Eating disorders are complex , more and more young children are struggling and being diagnosed while adults struggle to come forward due to the stigma attached. Diagnosing early enough will give you a better chance at recovery. At LinkedCare Consortium we believe in working with a multidisciplinary team to treat eating disorders and to support parents/families. What is your first thought when you see this picture., post it in the comments below. This is such a powerful image that depicts what happens daily in society. We walk around with masks, being too scared to show our fears/struggles because we do not want to be judged , we cover it up with answers like “i am fine” … but we are far from fine. Lets be curious the next time someone tell you they are fine , you might be surprised when you show interest how much people will actually reveal.
