Sustainably Sourced

Sustainably Sourced Sustainable sourcing is the act of looking for ingredients that are sustainably farmed, produced or manufactured.

This means the ingredients, are produced with more than economic considerations in mind. Based on a growing market trend and the fragility of our global supply chain, sustainability sets the focus on the future. It means the product is generating environmental, social and economic benefits, while not using up too many resources or causing pollution and in the meantime supplying growing consumer demand. With the increased demand for natural, sustainably sourced ingredients and Fair Trade products now growing exponentially in the international FMCG/CPG market place. Establishing an online E-commerce trading company that handles the bulk supply of these products to manufacturers and producers will be of high value, especially from a developing continent with a range of ‘aid for trade’ development requirements.

It has often been said that bees are responsible for one out of every three bites of food we eat. Most crops grown for their fruits (including vegetables such as squash, cucumber, tomato and eggplant), nuts, seeds, fiber (such as cotton), and hay (alfalfa grown to feed livestock), require pollination by insects. Pollinating insects also play a critical role in maintaining natural plant communities and ensuring production of seeds in most flowering plants.
