Our beautiful first-time mum was due in August, but as many parents learn, due dates are only estimates — not deadlines. Passing that date brought natural feelings of anxiety, especially when she experienced prodromal labour (those stop-and-start contractions that prepare the body but don’t yet establish active labour).

And then, when her baby was ready, everything shifted. She flowed through active labour with incredible strength, and her pushing was simply phenomenal. By her side, her husband stood as an anchor of calm, holding space with love and reassurance. Together, they welcomed their little prince in a serene underwater birth. 💙

✨Babies know their own time✨
This little prince reminded us of a beautiful truth: babies rarely follow a calendar — they arrive on the date that is perfectly right for them. After weeks of stop-and-start labour signs, he chose his special day to be born, weighing a healthy 3.68kg.
Labour patterns can vary — sometimes building up, pausing, and then restarting. This isn’t something “wrong,” but nature’s wisdom at work, preparing both mum and baby for the safest, most ready moment.
Throughout it all, her birth team, Kelly and Ruwaida, stood by her side — offering love, gentle massages, and comfort as she brought her baby earthside. 💛 Surrounded by her husband's support, she birthed in strength and grace.
Baby's brother and sister were overflowing with joy, wrapping him in hugs and cuddles as they welcomed him into the family.
