How to fit a giant dog into a mini cooper! Open door, insert giant dog, close door 🙌🏽 if only your health could be that simple! 💫 Don’t overthink it

I had a chronic migraine patient this week. So often pelvic patients also suffer with jaw clenching, neck pain and chronic headaches.
So here is a very simple check list you can easily do all by yourself for 4-6weeks as an experiment to see how your body responds
Cut down or cut out sugar, caffeine and diet soda. Turn off screens about an hour before bed. Get to bed a couple hours earlier than you’re used to. Aim for 9pm to get in 8hours sleep! Exercise every day, even a 30min walk counts.

I’m from Botswana after the most incredible family adventure. I truly feel blessed to have had one of the most amazing holidays of a lifetime. If any of you are interested or think it’s something you’d like to do one day, go for it! You won’t regret it. If you’d like to see what we got up to check out . Now I’m back in my lovely practice seeing my special ladies. Message from week one: To all the new moms out there, don’t be too rigid with rules and routines. Get the basics right (feed, change nappies, love and cuddle) and then take short day time naps, go for a walk, cut yourself some slack 💫

Beach holidays and Urinary Incontinence 😬😣 it’s blazing hot, you’ve left the house for at least four or five hours and you’re drinking liters of water plus a possible coffee or cocktail. Yikes 😳
Not often you find a clean loo to use. Now what??? Not everyone is comfortable having a “swim” in the sea for relief 😅
What is your strategy?

Its been a very long time since I’ve paid proper attention to my social media posts and although I’ve never been very good at this (I think it’s an age thing 🤦🏽‍♀️😅) I’m determined to improve my efforts 🙌🏽💫 It’s been a life altering two months of reassessing focus and priorities after having a pulmonary embolism. For any new followers, here we go…… 🥳 I am a Physiotherapist with almost 20 experience. Back to work for just over a week already and squeezing in time to collect my girls from school. Wow what a fabulous start to the year. I’ve been busy in my practice and meeting new patients every day. That really is my favorite part of the work I do. Meeting new people and learning so much from every one of them as I do my best to teach them more about their body 🦾🦿 I’ve got some exciting plans for my practice and my patients, now just need to juggle the Mom bit and focus in the hours I have available to me. Happy 2022 💫 May it be a year of health and fun!

Pelvic organ prolapse is a common problem that affects up to 50% of women, with 1 out of 9 women needing surgery for prolapse in their lifetime. June is Pelvic Organ Awareness Month. Have you referred your patients to the patient website? www.YourPelvicFloor.org.

I didn’t know that! Monday - learn something new day!
Pelvic pain/Incontinence/prolapse and headaches with grinding of teeth and neck pain. I’ve seen so much of this in the past weeks. Stress and overtraining pelvic floor muscles. Working out your pelvic floor is not necessarily going to be the best bet. If you’re unsure let a Pelvic floor Physio check you out.
