The Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality has received reports of individuals attempting to bribe officials in connection with the Debt Relief Programme.

Bribery is a criminal offence and will not be tolerated under any circumstances. Such actions undermine service delivery, delay assistance to deserving residents, and damage public trust.

By refusing and reporting bribery, residents help ensure that the Debt Relief Programme is fair, transparent, and benefits those who truly qualify.
