Marike De Jager was born in Kestell, Eastern Freestate before moving to White River, Mpumalanga where she completed her school education at Rob Ferreira High School. This is where her love for sport and passion for healthy living started to bloom. Marike De Jager studied BSc

Human Movement Science with Physiology and went on to do her Honours degree in Biokinetics (BSc). She completed both degrees at the Founder University of Biokinetics in Potchefstroom, after which she moved back to Nelspruit to complete her internship at LowMed Clinic in the Sport and Performance Group of Biokineticists. Marike De Jager has had great experience working with the Blue Bulls Rugby Union and later with the Pumas Rugby Union, concentrating on sports injury rehabilitation, performance and maintenance. She also worked with Beeld Trofee winners of the Macro School rugby teams and as the Conditioning Coach at Nelspruit High School.

After more than 2 and a half years in Fourways, Marike opened her second practice in Randburg in 2017 with the focus on providing individual as well as group classes for patients with sports injuries as well as individuals just looking for a healthier and balanced lifestyle.
