Wishing my patients a very happy festive season🌲! Here are top tips to help your body stay pain free during this time:
1. Stay active, keep the body moving and stretch.
2. Be mindful of your posture, do not get into the habit of slouching- use ergonomical tools to assist with this.
3. Stay Hydrated!
4. Prioritise sleep and rejuvenation of the body!
6. Apply heat to muscles that become painful and sore or ice to areas that have had a direct injury up to 72 hours.
7. Indulge in good foods but still maintain a healthy balance - do not allow yourself to over indulge.
8. Use this time to unwind, reflect and work on being in a good mental space.
