Some great advice
WHAT HELPS ME AFTER A DAY OR 2 (or more) OF OVER INDULGING!? 🍔🍟🍨🍫
YES we human, it happens to the best of us! 🤷🏼♀️
💥10 TIPS: ⬇️
1. Get over it and let it be what it is. Its done and dusted & in the past. Move on from it and dont feel guilty.
2. Wake up to a big cup of green tea/ hot water and lemon.
3. Start the day with your choice of exercise. A run, a brisk walk, a group workout. Something active to get that body moving. .
4. Dont restrict yourself from eating and starve yourself just because you feel that it will cancel out or balance out all that nonsense you ate. WRONG attitude. It wont!
5. Have a simple breakfast - I'd have something like a smoothie (1x banana, 1 scoop vanilla protein, cinnamon, teaspoon peanut butter, some ice, water/ almond milk) easy and it has all the goodness you need.
6. Drink lots of water 2-3 litres a day- dependant.
7. Have a lunch & dinner fulled with lots of veg and fiber. Eat the rainbow. What I'd have and this obvs depends on what's in my pantry/fridge. Lunch would be something like this: A big bowl full of baby spinach, broccoli, cherry tomatoes, quinoa, 1/4 avo, sunflower or pumpkin seeds (sometimes both), red onion - seasoned with salt, pepper & balsamic. Dinner would be something like this: Homemade veg soup - (a mix of lentils, split peas, baby marrow, sweet potato, broccoli, cauliflower, leeks, carrots, spinach, garlic, herbs & spices) 🙂
8. Drink lots of green tea to help "detox" the body.
9. Avoid heavy/ rich foods this includes most animal products (meat,dairy). Keep it primarily plant based/whole foods. 🥦🍏 .
10. Lastly Ill have a cup of kefir mixed with water and a teaspoon of spiralina before I go to bed.
