Pyjama and movie day was a big hit at the preschool today!
From cozy pyjamas and popcorn to laughter and excitement, our little ones had the best time enjoying their very own cinema experience.
Some of our preschoolers were appointed as cashiers to assist with ticket payments, checking tickets, selling popcorn, and helping everyone find their seats.

She has been involved in several mentorship and volunteer initiatives. For two years, she served as a mentor for first-year university students through StudyTrust, where she provided academic and emotional support to students adjusting to university life. Marlon also volunteered at GRP, the wits graduate recruitment programme and had the opportunity to shadow a psychologist during a psychological assessment, where she assisted by interpreting due to her multilingual background. She's also involved in community work at church. These experiences strengthened her passion for accessible and culturally responsive mental health care.

Ububele’s focus on community-oriented, and relationship-based work strongly aligns with the kind of psychology she hopes to practice. As a clinical volunteer, she hopes to contribute compassion, dedication, and willingness to learn, while supporting the meaningful work Ububele does within the Alexandra community.

Schizophrenia is a complex mental health condition that affects how a person experiences thoughts, feelings, and reality.
By raising awareness, we reduce stigma and remind ourselves that every person deserves to be met with empathy, care, and understanding.

Meditation is part of our preschool’s daily morning routine, and it helps us begin each day with calm minds and relaxed bodies. It gives our little learners a gentle space to settle, breathe, and get ready for learning with focus and ease.
Starting the day this way supports emotional wellbeing, builds self-regulation, and creates a peaceful foundation for the day ahead.
