Exciting news: a brand-new workshop is in the works!
I’m thrilled to share that this one will be inspired by the Internal Family Systems (IFS) model, developed by Dr. Richard Schwartz. IFS is built on a powerful premise: within each of us lives a community of parts, subpersonalities with their own thoughts, emotions, and behaviours.
Rooted in decades of psychological, neuroscientific, and philosophical thought, IFS offers a transformative way to understand ourselves. Because healing and pain relief are not always the same thing. Every trigger is a doorway to the past.
In this workshop, we’ll explore how to access these inner parts, uncover their purpose, support them, and most importantly, learn how to love them.

Last night’s workshop at RESET sober + living filled my heart. We explored the nervous system, human needs, and broke down the purpose and meaning of ‘feelings’. Very grateful for the brave, open-hearted group who showed up, asked questions and leaned into reflection. If you’re curious about nervous system education and trauma-informed tools, reach out to join a group or explore this in a one-on-one space.

How do we do that? We go back to basics.
Start by identifying what you’re feeling, this is a skill, and like any skill, it takes practice. Name the emotion. Then, instead of pushing it away, allow it to be present in your body. Get curious: sit with it, speak to it, and ask questions like, “How are you trying to help me?” or “What unmet need are you pointing me toward?”

If the sensation becomes overwhelming, gently support your nervous system with sensory tools, deep breathing, humming, or tapping can help bring you back to safety.

When you meet a feeling with awareness and regulation, it begins to shift.
Feel it differently. Do it differently.

What we bury in our thoughts, the body carries in its bones.
We tend to lean on logic and reason because they’re tidy, boxed, and easier to control, at least on the surface.
But messy feelings don’t stay buried forever.
They’ll boil up eventually.
Better to open the door gently… than wait for them to smash through the window.

Here’s a sneak peek of the ‘Feel it to Heal it’ workshop - Navigating Addiction through Nervous System Awareness. Together, we’ll explore how to witness and regulate ourselves through the lens of the nervous system, and how to witness and co-regulate with others in a way that fosters safety and connection.

A baby is 100% dependent on its caregivers. Our bodies are designed and prepared to observe, process, and respond to our environment when we identify safety and danger. Listen to the cues from your body🤍

Never underestimate the power of someone simply sitting with you, the quiet gift of presence, of attunement, of truly listening and hearing you.
Intimacy is about feeling into another person, but you can only do that if you’ve learned to feel into yourself first.
If your own big emotions make you uncomfortable, chances are you’ll struggle to hold space for someone else’s.
So start here: What do I believe will go wrong if I allow myself to truly feel?

Focus on your tribe and allow the rest to lose you, and allow yourself to lose them.
