Misinformation loves drama. Science loves data. Lenacapavir (LEN) is a long-acting HIV prevention and treatment medication designed to stay in the body longer, meaning fewer doses and consistent protection when used correctly.

It has undergone rigorous clinical trials and regulatory review. “Zero risk” is not how science works - evidence and monitoring are. Don’t share misinformation. Share verified information instead. If this helped, share this video.

Lenacapavir (LEN) has gone through rigorous clinical trials, safety monitoring, and regulatory review. A viral post isn’t the same as scientific evidence.

Before we jump to conclusions, let’s pause and check trusted sources.

Anova Health is dedicated to strengthening quality public health services.

Anova has developed various projects in different parts of South Africa in an effort to bring our expertise to the community. We are a key partner to the Department of Health and pride ourselves in innovative responses, thought leadership and research in HIV.

"Sometimes when we talk about public health we divorce it from the people that the health system is really helping. So we look at numbers and drugs and clinics, but in the end it’s about affecting the life of a mother and a baby; it’s about affecting the life of a young gay teenager who is scared to go into a clinic… That’s what Anova’s work is really about and that’s what our teams are doing so well."

~ Prof James McIntyre, CEO of Anova Health Institute
