If we wait for conditions to be perfect, before we allow ourselves to be happy and at peace, we are going to wait a very long time. And even if we do find moments of respite, we will always be insecure. The only certainty in life is change. Seek your security inside, in attunement with the Divine.

Paramhansa Yogananda said that we have the power within us to “Stand unshaken amidst the crash of breaking worlds.” Wow. That’s quite a promise! Whether we make it to the full realization of that goal, or only move ourselves closer, it will be life well spent.
