When life gives you lemons 🍋

Ingredients:
• 1 lemon
• 1–2 teaspoons sugar (adjust to taste)
• 1 cup cold water
• Ice (optional)

Method:
1. Roll the lemon on the counter first (helps get more juice out).
2. Cut and squeeze all the juice into a glass (remove seeds).
3. Add sugar and stir well to dissolve.
4. Pour in the cold water and mix.
5. Taste and adjust — more sugar if too sour, more water if too strong.
6. Add ice if you like.

Tip:
If your lemon is very small or not juicy, add a tiny pinch of salt — it boosts the flavour nicely.

🍋 Why this is great for kids:

✋ Hand function & strength
• Squeezing = builds grip strength
• Stirring & pouring = improves control and coordination
• Using both hands = strengthens bilateral skills

🔢 Following a sequence
• Learn order: squeeze → sugar → water → stir
• Builds memory and listening skills
• Teaches cause & effect (taste changes!)

Bonus: sensory play + language (“sweet”, “sour”) + independence 👍
