HPV, or Human Papillomavirus, is a common viral infection that can be transmitted through sexual contact. Some HPV infections are harmless and clear up on their own, but some types can lead to ge***al warts or cervical cancer and other cancers. Vaccines can help prevent these health problems

Symptoms:
Most people with HPV don't experience any symptoms and the infection clears up on its own within a couple of years. However, some types can cause visible ge***al warts or, in the case of high-risk types, lead to cervical dysplasia (abnormal cell changes in the cervix) that could develop into cancer if not treated.

Prevention:
Vaccination is a crucial tool for preventing HPV infection and its associated health problems. The HPV vaccine is recommended for both males and females, usually starting around age 11 or 12.
